What started with documenting our travels, from the dramatic landscapes of Alaska to the castles of Scotland, became a calling to preserving emotion, connection, and all the little in-between moments that make your story uniquely yours.

Before stepping into the world of lifestyle portraits and weddings, my path was anything but linear. I grew up in Catawba County, took my time exploring the world beyond it, and eventually found my way back home, right back to the same place where my love for photography first began.

I ran cross country and track at Lenoir-Rhyne University while studying Environmental Policy and Political Science, later earning my Master of City and Regional Planning from Clemson University (go tigers!). After graduating, life took me to Charlotte, where I reconnected with a friend who would become my husband. We married in 2022 and welcomed our first child in 2025.

Photography has always been my anchor. From receiving my first DSLR in high school, to taking art classes just to unwind during college, to photographing teammates at track meets. I’ve always been drawn to capturing real moments as they unfold.

Today, I specialize in wedding photography, engagement, and lifestyle sessions for families and couples throughout Charlotte, Hickory, and the surrounding Carolinas.

My approach to wedding photography and lifestyle sessions is a blend of guided direction, effortless posing, and an editorial eye for genuine moments. Many of my first-time clients have never had professional photos taken before, and almost every single one starts off telling me they feel nervous or “awkward” in front of the camera. By the end of their session, they’re shocked at how natural it felt. And you want to know the best part? They come back, again and again, trusting me to document life’s next chapters.

During your session or wedding day, I guide you through poses and prompts that feel comfortable and real. No stiff instructions, just intentional direction that helps you look and feel confident and connected, like you’ve stepped effortlessly into a moment you’ve lived a thousand times.
